I'm Kwame, a London-based creative director and cinematographer. I make fashion-led films for brands that sell a feeling, from jewellery and fashion to travel and hospitality.
I started out as an artist, studying fine art and the Renaissance painters who used light and shadow to make a face feel alive. In 2015 I swapped the brush for a camera, then sharpened my eye in fashion, leading campaigns and filming in-house before going independent in 2020.
Since then I've filmed everything from a Fashion Week dinner in London to creative retreats in Bali and Morocco and destination shoots in Gran Canaria. Some days it's a single piece of fine jewellery and the way light moves across a stone. Others it's a guest moving through a place, and what it actually feels like to be there.
I work like a documentary maker, spending time with the founders, hosts and teams behind a brand to find the story that's really there. Then I shoot it with a painter's eye for light and shadow, and a fashion eye for texture and movement.
From creative direction and shooting to the edit and grade, I handle everything myself and travel light, so you deal with one person from first call to final file, delivered on time.
Got a launch, a place or a story you want told properly? Let's talk.
